I started this drawing with a completely different intent than what I actually produced. I was going to use colored pencils and make it more abstract, but I liked what I was drawing with my #2 too much to change it. Maybe I'll draw it again from a different lense another day.

Good Lord cool, we have really got to talk about your critique skills, heh. A critique is like surgery, and your vocabulary is likened to the tools you would use if you were to perform a surgery...we take the piece apart and find out what is working and what is not...you are operating here with a butter knife. Heh, you know I'm kidding.
I really like your use of value here, I can see that you have pushed your pencil to achieve the dark dark in the head board, and I believe it causes the figure to be more important, more emphasized. It's very delicate too, and dreamy.
